Regulation 44 Independent Visits
The Children’s Homes Regulations & Quality Standards 2015, requires that the registered provider shall appoint an independent person to visit and report on the children’s homes monthly to be in accordance with this regulation.

Responsible Individual Services
Responsible Individual Services

The Responsible Individual (RI) is responsible in law for ensuring the Children’s Homes meets all it’s registration conditions, through achieving compliance with the relevant regulations.

To register a Children’s Home with OFSTED you have to be able to demonstrate your RI have the effective knowledge and understanding of the law, practice and regulations to oversee the smooth running of the home.

Independent Inspections
This service will entail visiting your service over a 2-3 day period and carrying out a independent inspection using a Quality Assurance Framework that measures your homes and children’s outcomes against the Quality Standards and OFSTED Social Care Inspection Framework (SCIFF). This will support you with getting your service OFSTED Ready.
Safeguarding Reviews

This service entails a full review of all safeguarding incidents, missing episodes, physical interventions and Risk Assessments to make sure you are meeting regulations and the quality standards
